MicroStrategy es un reconocido poseedor de bitcoin que guarda a la criptomoneda entre sus reservas. Ahora ya cuenta con alrededor de 130.000 bitcoins, las cuales fueron adquiridas por un precio total de US$3.980 millones, o US$30.639 cada una.
